On 20 November 1965, C Company, 2/28 Infantry lost six men in an engagement near Trung Loi, 5 kilometers west of Chon Thanh airfield in Binh Long Province:
SGT Kenneth Sargent was buried with his mother, Hazel (Marshall) Sargent (1906-1971) and father, George Albert Sargent (1905-1987) in Mountain View Cemetery, Auburn, King County, Washington.
