I would like to post a memorial of my uncle. I did not have the pleasure of knowing him; however I live my day to day life through him. He served and died for his country for what he believed in. I would like to say a special "Welcome Home" to him and all of the brothers who served beside him. "Lest We Forget"

A Note from The Virtual WallDuring the second week of February 1967 elements of the 3rd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, were inserted into the far southwestern corner of Kontum Province in order to conduct area denial operations against NVA units operating along the Cambodian border. On 16 Feb, A/1/22 Infantry and C/2/8 Infantry separately engaged battalion-sized NVA forces. Although the US forces, supported by air and artillery, were able to hold their positions until relieved, there was a very high cost to the operation:
