Kenny was my cousin. I was only 6 years old when he was killed in action piloting a chopper while trying to save the lives of fellow soldiers. Unfortunately I never got to know him.

Nevertheless Kenny has always been a hero to me. In my mind he epitomizes patriotism and selfless devotion to country and his fellow soldiers, splendid qualities that are ever harder to find these days.

Thank you for your service to our country, Kenny. Rest in peace.

From a cousin,
J. A. (Bud) Thompson
