Charlie Company, 3/39th Infantry, lost three men on 25 Jan 1967: A fourth man, Corporal Russell M. Zgrabik of Cleveland, Ohio, was wounded in the action and died the following day.

CPL Donovan, son of Arthur and Mary E. Donovan, was survived by his modther and two sisters, is buried in Long Island National Cemetery, East Farmingdale, Suffolk County, New York.
