His father, Louis Bierbaum, was a good friend of mine. After my service in Vietnam (11th Armored Cavalry 1969-1970) his father was my shop steward in Local 485 of the IUE. I just wanted to make sure the family was remembered.




PFC Bernard Birenbaum
died in the fighting in the
Ia Drang Valley
November 1965.
