My beloved Vincent, today is Memorial Day 2008. You died for our country April 1968, 40 years ago. My grand-daughters, Imanie, 14 and Kendra 11, and my niece Matyson just looked through your album, reading some of your beautiful letters. They felt so much love. They were so happy that I shared such an important part of my life, my love for you, with them. We just all hugged and cried and laughed together. Well my love, we were 21 years old in 1968 ... and today I'm 61.
