You got a "Dear John" letter a few weeks before you died and I hoped you could go home and make things OK again. But you never made it. We carried you through that night in the rain until we could get to where a chopper could land and take you away. You were a good medic and friend and I miss you. The death benefit "she" got was a far lesser prize than getting you back. You will live as long as we remember ...
