REMEMBEREDby another swift boat sailor,Terry Boone mtboone@aol.com |
I am Chief Boatswain N. D. Maxwell. I was stationed with Dick in Coronado, California, with Beachmaster Unit ONE. My "X" and I were very good friends with Dick and his wife Betty. I would love to talk to someone who was with him before he was killed.
From a friend, |
The music has ended, I still hear the song.
It's not how long the spring, it's not how wide the sky, I'll always love you ... Betty

Sniper fire was received killing the after mount operator of PCF-50. During the operation USS DuPONT (DD-941) and USCGC INGHAM (WHEC-35) provided 5" naval gunfire support." |
