I am Kevin Jon Berish, Donald James Sheehy's son.
Donald James Sheehy died 2 weeks after my conception. I never knew him, saw his picture only once when I was 16. My mother does not talk anything about him or Vietnam. She destroyed much of the evidence of him.
I have a copy of his death certificate.

I will always in my life wonder about my biological father and his side of the family.

Love is dear and you are near. Clear thy head for the evil that comes. War is something that is not fun. I saw, I felt, seen the pain in the military myself. I saw things unimaginable but it wasn't Vietnam. War is not wise. Wisdom prevents deaths like my father's. But war does have a cause and effect. I do not understand the mystery of war and life and death. You are the real ROOSTER, my father! "Alice in Chains" sings it the best!

We were all Soldiers! God bless! I have received, myself, 3 medals while in the military! God look after my father and allow him to look after me and my older brother Sean!
From his son,
