Thanks, Ronnie, for what you did as an American who was called on to defend your country. We were young the last time we saw each other. I talked to your mother about you at the wake for my dad in 1987. She still thinks about you and is crazy about your kid. Showed me pictures of you and shed a few tears. I saw her again last year (1998) at my baby sister's funeral, but I didn't get to talk to her. She seems to be aging well. Your dad passed away in 1979. I haven't seen Jimmy since I last saw you. We were all kids playing in those old cars. Seems like a thousand years ago and I guess it was.
RIP Cousin, |
We would be honored if you would include my Daddy's photo in this site.
Thank you, |
Ronnie Shaw was my great uncle. I grew up hearing stories about him from his brother, my grandfather, and my great-grandmother. I would love to find out more about him and the people he served with if possible. My grandfather still talks about Ronnie a lot and would love to know more so if you have any information please let me know. Thanks.
