27 Oct 2002 THERE ARE YEARS LOST BEHIND US FULL OF WORDS WE NEVER SPOKE THROUGH THICK & THIN AND DIFFICULT TIMES WE MERGED TOGETHER AS ONE THE BOND WE FORGED AS CHILDREN WILL NEVER BE TAKEN AWAY BECAUSE IN MY HEART YOU'LL ALWAYS BE HERE WITH ME EVERY DAY! LOVE YOU FOREVER! YOUR SISTER Karen A. Sablotny-Rudolph Lakeland, Florida Jerry Reynolds was my brother's best friend ... they were always side-by-side during their service. I remember Jerry visiting with Dick at my father's house in California when I was younger (I'm the dark haired kid next to my brother in the picture). I spoke with Jerry again after Dick's death. I'm including this photo as a measure of my respect for Jerry, and to thank him for being such a wonderful friend. Dick and another soldier, recovering from their wounds.
