Paul Russ and I were best friends since 7th grade, living in Niagara Falls, N.Y. We also share the same birthday, though a year apart. We were both in Nam part of the same time, though Paul was in the Army and I was a Navy Corpsman with the 3rd Marines. I have a scratching of his name off the Vietnam War Memorial Wall and it will always have an important place in my family's living room. My wife also knew his family well.
