Proctor was a member of our gun team assigned to the third platoon. He was wounded on Operation Kingfisher north of Con Thien on 7/29/67. He was medevaced and died of his wounds on 8/1/67. I remember when he went home on special leave to get married. He was an outstanding Marine and loved by everyone in the company. I constantly think of him.
