George Patrick Power is on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Panel 56W Line 007.

George Patrick Power grew up in a small town and graduated from North Duplin High School with my father. He and "Pat" were best friends. Pat's tour of duty began Dec 26, 1967. June 16,1968 he died of wounds in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam. His body was recovered and returned home. My father has missed him every day. Our prayers are with all who still mourn and especially with those who still do not know where their loved ones are.
