A Note from The Virtual Wall

The 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines, lost five men on 21 Aug 1969, three Marines and two Navy Corpsmen:
  • Sgt David R. Baker, Antes, PA, Mike 3/7
  • HM2 Robert T. Razzano, Cohoes, NY, H&S Company 3/7
  • Cpl Charles R. Le Bosquet, Madison, WI, Mike 3/7
  • Cpl Major B. Morgan, Chamblee, GA, Mike 3/7
  • HN Charles H. Parks, Aiken, SC, H&S Company 3/7
Men under arms accept the possibility of death at the enemies' hands. On this day, the real tragedy was that only Hospitalman Parks died as a result of enemy action; the other four men died in a "friendly fire" incident.
