Pat O'Shaughnessy was a fine young man and a very good athlete. We attended high school together but all during the summers of our youth we competed against each other on the baseball fields of Wheeling, West Virginia. I felt his loss and think our community was robbed of someone who would mark his mark in life. I never watch a baseball game without thinking of Pat.
