Forever in my heart...my sweet cousin. |
May you rest in peace and hold your father.
From a cousin. |
Jack is my second cousin. However, I never met him although often I visit his name on the Wall. I am a Major who has been mobilized at the Pentagon in support of the Global War on Terrorism. If anyone can tell me about him, I would appreciate it.
James L. Oakes Jr. (Duke) |
Jack was my uncle and even though I never got to meet him, I feel that I have gotten to know him through the stories my mom tells me. I wish I could hang out with him for just one day so he could get to know me and then I could get to know him. It's hard on my family especially since my grandma (Jack's mom) died not too long ago. It made us think of all that we had lost and Jack was an important part to our family.
From his niece, |
May You Rest In Peace ... God bless you for serving our country!
From a distant cousin. |
