The last time I saw him, he was like me, young and alive, and we talked of our future, what we would do when we got home, but he gave it all and I have missed him over the years, the smile, the sincere friendship and a true Marine Buddy. Peace, my friend. Semper Fi Hansen
From a Marine buddy, |
Ignacio Montero was my oldest brother. Ignacio volunteered for the Marine Corps after high school. I was only 8 years old when he was killed in Vietnam. After his death my dad avoided talking of him and evaded answering questions about him. For years I've been trying to find somebody who served with him - but until now without success.
