Dear Gary, For so many years you have been missed. Mom , Dad , Randy, and I have so longed to talk to you one more time. Marcia, your wife , has had it rough since you have gone and misses you as well. I will always cherish the memories of you, our growing up together, and never turning our backs on the duty to our country together. You on the ground and me in the air. Brother, I wish you could be sharing the joys of the world you sacrificed for me and my family. I still use your tools and cherish your hunting guns that you left behind. You know you were the handsome one and the hunter. I have kept a memorial and your memory in my office for everyone to see. You make me proud to be of your blood. It's been for you I stayed the course and served the great United States of America until my retirement. If old men were sent to war , there wouldn't be any wars. War is not the glamor that politicians make us believe, but it's the guts of young boys who spill their blood on strange and distant soil. May you be remembered, not to the masses, but to our family, as the American lad who heard the call, met the challenge, and paid the price, so that we, the living , may enjoy freedom. Damn the establishment. I love you, Gary.
