15 May 2008

I was 2 weeks shy of my second birthday when you died. My big brother used to play with your little brother. I remember my parents used to speak highly of you but by that time you were gone. A couple of years ago, with the help of a friend, I was able to find your grave. Thank you for fighting for freedom. I wish I could have known you. Semper Fi.

From a neighbor,
Anthony Chavez (Sgt USMC 84-96)
