Ed and I went to high school together in Baumholder Germany.

His absence will be felt as our former "Military Brats" schoolmates reunite for the first time after almost 30 years this summer.

I will always remember Eddie for giving me a model B-52 airplane while our parents were next-door neighbors at Fort Dix. I will always remember the kindness of his parents, especially his father and brothers when they took me fishing. If my memory serves me kindly, it was Eddie's dad who herded us to safety in the kitchen during the Oct 70 on-post riot.
