PFC Willis Matthews was my older brother.
He had a good heart and a good soul.
He played football in high school
and had a tremendous number of friends.
He received the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart.
There were well over 600 people at his funeral.
We all miss "Lonnie", which is what we called him.
I am sad that he never got to know his nieces and nephews,
they would have loved him.
But we are all very proud of him and his service to our country.
We love all of the Vietnam Veterans.
God Bless you all.

Missed by his sister,
Angela Menton,
and his brother,
Bill Matthews
