The 20 year old from Parma was killed on July 6, 1967. Son of Joseph and Alice Kilbane, brother to Kevin and Judy, Terrence was killed by a shrapnel from a mortar in a "suicidal mission" referred to by his father. Terrence had plans to attend law school after his duty was complete. He once wrote in a letter to his parents "This Marine will go straight to heaven because he's spent his time in hell." Terrence is one of the proud many that have given their lives to protect our liberties. He continues to look down and protect us, the same way he did while he was on earth.
