Tim was a high school classmate of mine at Niclolet H. S. and he entered the Marine Corps about the same time as I was drafted into the Army. We both served in South Vietnam. I think of Tim often as my only friend that gave his life for our freedom. I really appreciate what Tim did for his country. Tim was a great guy and really deserved to live among us. My name is Jim McCormick and I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Tim was a hero and will always be remembered by my family and me. God bless Tim and his family.
From a friend, |
Tim and I became good friends at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. I was a Vikings fan and he was an avid Packer backer. We had some good times together and I lined him up with a girl I knew and she wrote him while he was in Vietnam and then she told me his letters were being returned to her and that is when I realized something bad happened to him. I have his name on my personal Vietnam Wall here at work with four other friends that have gone. I will never forget him and will remember the good times we had together at the club, eating and drinking the beer. Here's one for you, my friend. Semper Fi.
