Dear Mike, I miss you my friend from Platoon 349, MCRD Parris Island, S.C. We parted company in ITR, when I got set back because I got sick and had to spend some time in the Naval Hospital at Camp Lejeune. Before you left for your boot leave, you said that we'd meet again in Vietnam. Well, I got to Vietnam, only to find out that you had died and this hurt me real bad, brother. I'd always hoped that I could look up your parents, but I never got the chance to do that. God Bless you in heaven, Mike, and one day may we be reunited there to guard the streets of heaven. Rest in Peace, Brother.
