Although I never met my Uncle, I KNOW there is an eternal bond between us. His accomplishments as a young man inspired me. His courage as a soldier motivated me. His death humbled me. Thank you Uncle "Chick" for getting me through Desert Storm safely ... I always knew you were right there with me!

Even though time passes and younger generations seem to forget the service and sacrifice of those before us ... I am here to tell you ... I WILL NOT forget. When the day comes that a comrade has fallen and someone is needed to carry the colors and present arms ... I WILL BE THERE. If our nation forgets the price it must pay for freedom ... I WILL REMIND THEM.
