Billy "Wayne" Disheroon

Wayne and I were in E Troop, 2nd Platoon, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. For a time we shared Sheridan assault vehicle 39. I was with Wayne when he died. I was getting short, so one week before Wayne died I was transferred to an Armored Personnel Carrier, a safer vehicle. I went home one week after he died.
