A Spirit
by Clenda

I am a star that shines brightly in the sky,
I am the rain that catches your eye;
I am the wind that softly brushes by,
I am a spirit.

I am your friend until the end,
I am in the trees around the bend;
I hear your prayers that you send,
I am a spirit.

I am an Angel from above,
I came to as a white Dove;
I watch over you with love,
I am a spirit.

I am always around,
I am up in the air;
I am down on the ground,
I am a spirit.

I am the colors of the rainbow,
I am the one that makes your dream glow;
I am the Angel in the cold winter snow,
I am a spirit.

I am the sun,
I am the moon;
I am the sound of all the instruments playing in tune,
I am a spirit.

I am an Angel from Heaven,
I got my Angel-wings at the age of only eleven;
I am one very 'special' Angel from Heaven,
I am a spirit.
