In remembrance of Bard Davenport, who paid the ultimate price. My uncle was Bard's co-pilot on the mission in which they were lost. We don't know what their final thoughts were, but men who die together are forever linked.

Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose;
But young men think it is, and we were young.
