It's not the critic who counts,
nor the man who points out how a strong man stumbled or where the doer of deeds could have done it better.
The credit belongs to the man who is acually in the arena,
whose face is marred with blood, dust and sweat,
who strives,
who spends himself in a worthy cause.

Who if he prevails
will know the sweet taste of victory,
and if he fails
he does so with head held high.
And if he gives his life,
he may lay his head down knowing he gave all of himself.

T. Roosevelt and W. Churchill
