Davy was a very well liked young soldier with a big smile. He liked to laugh and party. I served with him in Vietnam during some of the best and worse times of our lives. We were best buddies and I loved him like a brother. I was not able to escort Davy home, and I feel bad that I don't even know where his grave site is. After all these years I wanted him to know why I never came to see him!

Davy was a very good friend. I would like to talk to any of his friends or relations.

The last time I saw David Brady we were riding in a truck - Dave Brady, me, and a guy named Gary Underwood. Underwood and I were going on R&R, Dave Brady was going in to see the dentist.

When Underwood and I got back from R&R we got the news that Dave had been killed. No death I encountered in Nam hit me harder.

Dave was a big strong vital guy, quick with a laugh or a prank - and quicker to help a friend that needed it.

It is thirty one years now since he was taken from us, but I still remember - I always will, he was my friend and I miss him.
