Clint was a good officer and friend who was the first officer in the battalion to be killed in action in the Vietnam War.
From a fellow officer in 1st Bn 16th Infantry, |
I probably played against you in high school football. I was at Jackson High School from 1956 to 1960. I had two tours in Nam in USAF flying B-57s and F-4 Phantoms. I was stationed at Phan Rang, Vietnam and Udorn RTAFB, Thailand. God bless.

Clinton,I think of you often with fond memories of growing up with you in West Point. You and your mom lived just a few doors down on the same street. You always looked out for me and were very kind and good hearted. I miss you.God bless you and thank you for your kindness and your service to our country.
