I was only 2 when you passed... I sat tonight reading letters to my mom (your aunt) about how war was and how you just wanted to come home and marry your girl friend and yes have a cold beer. My heart is broken I never got to meet you. I'm proud to be your cousin and proud of how you served and gave your life for our country.

Your cousin,
Patricia Ludington
