The database page for Robert Louis Westfall, Jr
Robert was my cousin and was called Junior. I was just barely old enough to remember him. I have always wondered why I didn't find your name in this site and visited the traveling wall yesterday and wanted to get your name on here as a remembrance and a "Thank You" for serving our country.

Robert was the older boy on the bus who looked out for the younger kids, one of them was me. I really think he deserves the best, if his name isn't among the others, I'd sure be upset about it. He lived and died a hero to me. When I think of him I think about my childhood and all the times he was there for me and all the other younger kids, who rode his bus - the late bus where no parents were around, we only had one another to make sure we all got on that late bus ... and we liked playing around knowing we had a long wait for it.
