From a native Philadelphian and Marine, |
I was only 7 years old, but I remember Gregory so vividly. He was a neighbor on Mytlewood Street in Philadelphia in 1968; more importantly he was like a big brother to me. Although he stood tall in statue and knew karate, he was a meek individual. I remember when my mother's boyfriend was abusing her, Gregory came to the rescue and asked if she needed any help. Here it is 34 years later, and I still think about Gregory. I will never forget him. God Bless HIS FAMILY, and I thank God for Greg impacting my life in a positive way. HE WAS A MAN'S MAN. I LOVE AND MISS HIM.
