I wanted to do a memorial for Jack, because like my brother Ralph McNew , who was killed in Vietnam in 1967, Jack was a great guy. He played basketball for Lily High School. He graduated in 1967 with my other brother Emory. Everyone knew each other at Lily. I never heard anything ever said against Jack, I knew his sisters and brothers, and all were spoken of highly. When Jack died, it made it harder for me because we lost a great friend. I just wanted to let his family know Jack may be gone, but will never be forgotten. May God bless all the families whose men served in Vietman.

Jack, thank you for serving our great nation, and giving all you had to give, your life. I miss you, you will never be forgotten
