We grew up in the same hometown and he was a good friend and all-around nice guy. He had a great personality and was fun to be around. He spent a lot of time in the "Isaly's" store where I worked. We would just hang out together when my shift ended. He was very well liked by all and I loved him like a brother. He was just the kind of guy you'd want by your side when things went bad. I'm sure his Viet Nam brothers would say the same kind of things. Like too many he died too young and will be forever remembered by many. He is our hometown hero. Joy Herd |
