The database page for Paul Arnold Tharp

Paul Tharp was a member of the 66th MP CO in Phu Ti, RVN. Paul took my place while I went on R&R, and was killed on July 1, 1970, two days after I left for R&R.

Paul was a crewmember of a Military Police V-100 and was leading a convoy when it was hit with a command-detonated mine. It has taken me 31 years to remember Paul's name, but now I will never forget.

I have made contact with Paul's family and visited them in Indiana. God Bless you Paul, for you are my hero.
