I was there when James was killed. I know the circumstances of what happened to him and where we were at the time. I did not know him personally, but I remember the manner in which this loss occurred. I knew he had a wife and baby at that time. He was a very brave young man and in my mind too young to have faced such a tragic end to a life that had so much to look for when Vietnam was over.

James deserves this memorial
and is a hero in every sense of the word.

I am looking for any information on PFC James Randel Taylor. I am his nephew and have been wearing his KIA bracelet since 1991. I just took command of an Infantry company and I will honor him by placing his medals on my office wall. I would like to know as much as I can about him. I would also like to find out any information about his wife or son. Thank you.
