SGT Stone was the senior Fire Team Leader (Alpha) in the 3d Squad, 3d Platoon, of Co B, lst Bn, 35th Inf, 3d Bde, 25th Inf Div. I was the Squad Leader. SGT Stone was a great Soldier who gave all, on that fateful day, of 3 July l966. SGT Stone was Killed In Action, in the Ia Drang Valley (Pleiku Province). He will never be forgotten. |
