To my brother, I remember sitting on his lap Christmas morning when I was 4 years old. I remember the way he danced. I remember him standing up for me against the neighborhood bullies. He taught me to ice skate and tie my shoes. He bought me a blue purse and hair ties while home on leave. He made me laugh with his silliness. I remember how handsome he looked in his uniform. I remember that million dollar smile! I remember wearing a bright yellow jumper and white blouse with black patent leather shoes, practicing my singing for the spring concert. When they came to the house to give us the news of his passing. He is forever young and forever loved. When I remember him I will always be that 11 year old girl.
