Eusebio, I'm going to our 40th anniversary this coming July, 2007. You should see us. A bunch of paunchy old guys chewing the fat. Half of us can remember something that happened, the other half can't. It has been a while since I contacted any of your family, but I promise I'll do it this year. To be honest that was such a load off my back when I found your family - I guess it was kind of like a closure for me also. I hope if one of your family members ever comes across this message they'll send me an e-mail (gaines5@aol.com) or call me. Honestly believe me when I say that I still think about you. Your old buddy Cal - the guys at the reunion still call me that (aka John Gaines).

From a friend,
John Gaines
