I met you long ago for oh but a brief time. It was just prior to your leaving for Viet Nam. I had always thought I would see you again. I was a young woman. You were a young man. I so wanted to see you again. I was devastated when I heard about your death.
I attended your funeral. It was a terribly somber time. I want you to know that I have never forgotten you and your kind sweet heart. I wish I had a picture of you so I could remember your sweet eyes and face.
You will never be forgotten by me ... ever.
May you rest in Peace my friend.
