I grew up with my friend Frank Simmons and this is how I found your site. Frank was the big brother I never had, and I have missed him for a very long time. I was also a friend of the family and his brother Shulken whom I also have lost touch with. Frank, Ben Lee, and myself were the Three Musketeers. Unfortunately I am the only survivor. Thanks,

A Note from The Virtual WallKilo 3/7 lost two men on 24 Apr 1968: LCpl Steve Davis of Hallsville, Missouri, and LCpl Frank R. Simmons. While LCpl Simmons died at the enemy's hands, LCpl Davis was killed in an accident of war.From September 1962 til March 1965 Frank lived at the Lake Waccamaw Boys' Home, North Carolina, where his friends remember him. He is buried in Plot L-39, Whiteville Memorial Cemetery, Whiteville, North Carolina. |
