The database page for Wilbur Jerry Siegrist
I was nearly 5 years old when my brother Jerry was taken from our family. I don't remember much about him but over the years, I have become more interested in him. I wish he were still here. I wonder what our lives would be like if he had lived. I know the sadness that my mother dealt with all her life. Now that I have a son of my own, I know how hard it must have been for her. She became a Gold Star Mother and created a memorial park in our township to remember the fallen soldiers. If anyone who knew my Brother reads this, email me with any info on him. He was only in Vietnam for 4 weeks. How sad. To never have the privilege of living your life to the fullest. He will remain 19 years old forever. I can't wait to meet you in Heaven, my dear brother. Love, your sister Becky
