To my Daddy,A man who died serving his country, a man I never got the chance to know.I was born 3 months after he was killed in Vietnam. If I could just tell him today how very proud I am of him, I would.
I know you are looking down on me and your grandson and keeping us safe. Until we meet, you are forever in my heart. I love you.
Your daughter and grandson A REQUEST...I never got to meet my father and I really don't know a lot about him. He was killed before I was born, and no-one has really ever told me a lot about him. I would like to hear from anyone who knew him, and particularly someone who served with him in Vietnam.Thank you ... |
Notes from The Virtual WallThe 505th Tactical Control Group was the immediate headquarters for a number of Tactical Control Squadrons which operated radar facilities throughout South Vietnam and Thailand. The 620th Tac Control Squadron, in its turn, had detachments at various locations. It seems very likely that A1c Seabourne was assigned to Det 3, 620th TCS, at the USAF radar facility in Quang Tri Province. |
