If anyone reads this please contact me. My cousin Andy Samans was among those from Company "A", 4/503rd Infantry, who died at Hill 830. I wanted to know if anyone has pictures ... maybe of the group of the guys in Arthur's unit? Andy's mom (my aunt) is still alive at age 93 and I know she'd like to hear stories you might have of Andy from men who were with him.

A Note from The Virtual Wall

On 10 July 1967, while conducting a large scale search and destroy mission near Dak To, Company A, 4/503rd Infantry, engaged an entrenched Viet Cong main force battalion. Company A lost 10 men killed in action during heavy fighting:
