Micheal Courtney Quinn was a native of Circleville, Ohio. His family moved to San Angelo, Texas, when Micheal was a junior. He attended and was graduated from San Angelo Central High School; the photo is from San Angelo's 1965 "Westerner". While at Central he was a member of the Bobcat Marching, Concert and Stage Bands. He graduated in 1965 and then attended San Angelo College, now Angelo State University. He enlisted in the Navy in the spring of 1966 and served on PBR-101 in Vietnam. He was killed in hostile action on May 24, 1967. He is remembered by the Concho Valley Vietnam Veterans' Memorial in San Angelo, by the San Angelo Central High School, Class of the 60's and by the Permian Basin Vietnam Veterans' Memorial in Midland, Texas. May his sacrifice not be forgotten.
