REMEMBERED ACROSS THE YEARSby an anonymous friend. |
Ray was 5 years older than me growing up. He is still my hero. Ray was an incredibly gifted athlete, handsome, and popular. I believe Ray still holds the Keystone Oaks High School single game rushing record that stands today. Ray always took time to help the little guys in the neighborhood. He was quick to defend us from bullies. He was a patient coach in football and baseball. He always made us all feel welcome - there were about 5 of us pesky little regulars, and he taught us all how to be cool. I'll never forget him.
