Wherever the Maheo (Great Spirit) journeys your path in the wild blue yonder, Nivistanivoo (Long Life) was not to be, you won peace in another way. I will be thinking about the Moheya (Blue Sky) and Ishiomiists (Rising Sun). The Castilldja (Indian Paintbrush, color of sunset) in the desert as it journeys your shadow. While our Hoimaha (God of cold, snow ,rain) comes to greet me in this beautiful scenery. Of the four directions of (Oregon) the land of free, your final rest is won. You have received the richest blessing to dwell with God's own son. I will keep you in my memories, I see your charming smile. And though we are separated now, it's only for a while. You will always be my inspiration of a hero. I miss you so, my brave cousin. I have lost a best friend, and true friendship.
PEACE AND LOVE TO YOU, MY FRIEND
If anyone knows anything about the battle at Quang Tri, South Viet Nam, 3rd Tank Battalion, around Jan 19th, 1967, I would appreciate hearing from you. Some time back an e-mail was sent to me from a person named Bart. The e-mail has been lost, so if this person reads this I would appreciate that also. I have a picture of a fellow Marine named Rick fom Texas so if any one has any info on him please let me know.
